INGREDIENTS:


*1cup - 250ml; *1tbsp. – Tablespoon; *1tsp. – Teaspoon; 
  • Flour – 1 cups
  • Gram flour (Beshan) – ½ cup
  • Black cumin seeds (kalonji) – ½ tsp.
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp.
  • Salt – ½ tsp.
  • Oil – 4 tbsp.(for dough making)
  • Water – ¼ cup
  • Oil – 1½ cup (for deep fry)


Follow these easy steps to make Namkeen Snacks


PREPARATIONS:


1.  Use a strainer to strain 1 cup of flour and 1/4 cup of gram flour (Beshan) before use them.


2.  Take a big bowl, put the flours on it. Now add ½ tsp. of salt, 3 tbsp. of sugar and ½ tsp. of black cumin seeds (kalonji) on flour and mix them well.


3. Now add 4 tbsp. of oil (normal refine or vegetable oil) on the mixture and mix them all using soft hand.


PREPARATIONS FOR DOUGH

      
4.  Now add ¼ cup of water on it and make tight dough. Sugar takes time to malt; leave the dough for 20 minutes.



RECIPES:


Step 1: Sprinkle the plate with flour, take the dough on it and mix it for 2-3 minutes using your hands.


Step 2: Make 3 equal size balls using it.


Step 3: Take a ball and flat it using Chakla and Belan as a Roti. Cut this Roti into small pieces or you can shape it as your wish.

MAKE A ROTI AND CUT INTO SMALL PIECES AS YOU WISH

Step 4: Heat 1½ cup of oil for deep fry. Now put the Namkeen snacks on the oil and fry them till golden in color.


**Tips: Fry the Namkeen snacks on a low heat.


Step 5: After all Namkeens are fried, let them rest for cooling down. Now put those on a glass jar and lid on. It will be edible for next 7 days as evening snacks for kids and family.
