PANEER CHILI RECIPE

WHAT IS PANEER CHILI:

TOTAL TIME TO MAKE PANEER CHILI:

TOTAL COOKING TIME FOR  PANEER CHILLI

INGREDIENTS:

*1cup - 250ml; *1tbsp. – Tablespoon; *1tsp. – Teaspoon; 

  • Paneer – 200 gm
  • Bel pepper (Shimla mirch) – 1 medium size
  • Tomato – 2 medium size
  • Onion – 2 medium size
  • Curd (Dahi) – ½ cup
  • Oil – 2-3 tbsp.         
  • Salt – as your own taste
  • Red chili (Lal mirch) powder – 1 tsp.
  • Turmeric (Haldi) powder – 1 tsp.
  • Sugar – 1 tsp.
  • Cumin (Jeera) powder – 1 tbsp.
  • Ginger and garlic paste – 1 tbsp.
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp.
  • Water – 2½ cups.


INSTRUCTIONS:


1. Cut 200 gm Paneer into small or medium pieces and fry them a little red in color.

2. Finely chop the 2 onions.

3. Chop the Bell Pepper (Shimla mirch) into medium pieces.

4. Puree 2 tomatoes.

5. Take a bowl, put ½ cup of curd into it, add ½ tsp. of red chili (lal mirch) powder, ½ tsp. of turmeric (Haldi) powder, 1 tbsp. of cumin (Jeera) powder and 1 tsp. of sugar on it, mix (beat) them very well.

HOW TO MAKE PANEER CHILI:


Step 1: Take a pan and heat it well, put 2-3 tbsp. of oil on it and heat the oil properly.   

Step 2: Add chopped onion on it, fry the onions until it become little brown in color.                      

Step 3: Now add the chopped capsicums (Shimla mirch) on pan and fry them all for 3-5 minutes.

Step 4: In this stage add 1 tbsp. of ginger and garlic paste on pan and fry for at least 1 min.

Step 5: Now add the tomato puree on pan and roast the whole things for 2 minutes.

Step 6: In this stage add the masala curd on pan, mix well and fry for 2-3 minutes or till the oil comes out from the spices.

Step 7: This is the perfect time for adding fried Paneer pieces on Pan’s masala, mix well, roast for another 2 minutes then add 2 cups of water on it. Once it starts boiling put on the lid and cook for 5 minutes in low heat.

Step 8: Chili Paneer is now ready to be served. For its spicy, tangy and little sweet taste, it is a good combo with Roti, Chapatti, Naan and Parathas.
