GREEN CHICKEN RECIPE

WHAT IS GREEN CHICKEN:

Green Chicken a is tasty, less spicy and healthy recipe. Because of using coriander, mint and chicken, it contains both protein and vitamins. It is primarily an Indian recipe and by this recipe everyone can taste the special cuisine of India. Green Chicken is a very easy recipe, to make this chicken dish follow the steps below. Today's my recipe is Special Green Chicken.

INGREDIENTS:

*1cup - 250ml; *1tbsp. – Tablespoon; *1tsp. – Teaspoon; 
  • Chicken – 300 gm (Prefer boneless chicken)
  • Fresh Coriander leaves – 1 cup
  • Fresh Mint leaves – 2/3 cup
  • Green chilies – 4 to 5 piece
  • Ginger & Garlic paste – 1½ tbsp.
  • Salt – 1 tsp. or as your taste
  • Curd (Dahi) – ½ cup
  • Onions – 2 medium size
  • Cumin (Jeera) Powder – 1 tsp
  • Coriander (Dhania) Powder – 1 tsp
  • Oil – 3 tbsp.
  • Water – 1½ -2 cup

INSTRUCTIONS:


1.  Take 1 cup coriander, 2/3 cup mint, 4 green chili and ½ cup of curd on a mixer jar, make a thick green paste.

2.  Take boneless Chicken for this recipe. Cut into small pieces and wash them well.

3.  Now put the green paste on chicken, add 1 tsp of cumin (Jeera) Powder, 1 tsp of coriander (Dhania) powder, 1½ tbsp. of ginger and garlic paste, 1 tsp of salt on Chicken. Leave it for 1 hour to marinate.

4.  Meantime finely chop the 2 onions.

Tips: Cover the bowl of Chicken and put it on refrigerator for 1 hour to marinate.  

HOW TO MAKE GREEN CHICKEN:


Step 1: Now take a cooking pan on heat, put 3 tbsp. of oil on pan and heat it,

Step 2: Now add the chopped onions on pan and fry them for 3-5 minutes.

Step 3: When onions fried red in color, add the Chicken on it. Now mix them all and roast the chicken for 15 minutes.

Tips: When the oil comes out from the cooked or roasted Chicken, it means chicken cooked properly.

Step 4: In that stage add 2 cup of water on it, wait for boiling. Put the lid and cook for another 10-15 minutes on low heat (flame).

Step 5: Now (after 15 mins) green chicken is ready with thick gravy. You can serve it with Rice Naan or Roti. It will be complete your meal as a perfect and delicious side dish.
