INGREDIENTS:

*1cup - 250ml; *1tbsp. – Tablespoon; *1tsp. – Teaspoon; 
  • Fish – 500 gm
  • Salt – 1 tbsp
  • Curd – 4 tbsp
  • Turmeric – 1 tsp
  • Oil – for shallow fry
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Green chili – 4 pieces
  • Red chili powder – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves – 1 cup
  • Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  • Ginger & garlic paste – 1 tbsp

Follow these steps to make the Masala Fish Fry


PREPARATIONS:

1.  I prefer to use 1 to 2 Kg Katla fish for this recipe. Cut it as per your own preference. Wash the fish pieces using water; now add 1 tbsp. of salt and 1 tsp. of turmeric powder on it. Mix them well by using your hand and leave them for 15 minutes.

MARINATED FISH WITH SALT AND TURMERIC

2.  In this meantime, make a thick green paste using green chili, coriander leaves and curd.

3.  Now add all the ingredients (1 tbsp. of Red chili powder, 1 tbsp. of Coriander powder, 1 tbsp. of Lemon juice, 1 tbsp. of ginger & garlic paste) on this green paste.

4.  Dip the fish pieces on this masala paste and leave them for 30 minutes to marinate.

RECIPE:


Step 1: Take a fry pan and heat it. Now 1 to 2 tbsp. of oil on it and put the fish pieces one by one on pan. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes and turn the other side one by one, now put the lid on the fry pan.


Tips: Cook on the low heat, it helps to cook fish properly from the inside and outside equally.


Step 2: Put the lid on for 5 minutes on low heat. Now turn off the flame and take them out on a plate.


Step 3: Your Masala Fish Fry is ready to be served. It is healthy, less oily and tasty. This is a perfect Party Snacks. You must try this recipe for your family or friend Party.
